Leslie Walters Artworks is now a book publisher!

 

October 2016, after tons of hard work and collaboration with some of Toronto's most amazing contemporary artists, we had the official launch party for 'Punk Pourri -The Colouring Book'. 
 

Here is a snipet from the press release:
"Artworks featured in PUNK Pourri were created by Dana Sixty, Helen Prancic, Jen Rec, Jenny Blackbird, Leslie Walters, Meghan Thompson, Skull Studio Art (CORPUSSE), Suzy Sin Park, plus some poetry by Shawna T. Heist made into colourable art by Leslie Walters and Helen Prancic. This book of line art was compiled by and published by Leslie Walters Artworks, via Asquith Press at the Toronto Reference Library. After 10 years of dreaming to do it, she is relieved and proud that it is now a reality!"

 

It was a great success and so much fun to do! So much so that, as of Oct. 2017, volume 2 is now officially in the works!

 

Also, a kindle version of Volume one is being researched.

October 2017: I have launched my first blog! Building On It is a personal experience blog retelling of our adventures as first time home buyers and renovators.  Articles will highlight deals we found, how -to stories, as well as mistakes we made to help others avoid making them. 

 

I am looking forward to creating more blogs in the future!
